Couples of my friends flew into Shenzhen from K.L. They were checking on some I.T. hardware to buy and I was there to tag along. Also, we are discussing whether we can collaborate on some e-commerce ventures.

This picture was somewhere in 华强路, Huaqiang Road. This is the place where all the I.T. hardware, Electronic and Mobile phone accessories are located. It’s an eye opening place for me. I will go up there again when my buddy comes over again. Need to explore this place further.

We were bumming at East TST and my wife wanted to have [tag]steaks[/tag] for dinners. We decided [tag]Outback[/tag] restaurant is the ideal in that area (on Mody Road).

My order – Flame Grill Prime Ribs

My wife order – Original Season Prime Ribs.
What you see on the picture looked so damn delicious but this is the [tag]worst[/tag] Australian prime ribs that I ever had. The beef was so hard to chew on. After quarter way, both of gave up trying. My jaws was getting numbed.
I told the waitress to give us the check because the beef was too rough to chew on. The manager wanted to give us another one but I said….we gave up. He gave us a 15% discount. I can’t help it. I still have to talk bad about this restaurant. Sorry…
I wonder how the ang moh take this kind of prime ribs. Maybe they have a stronger jaw then I am.

Its has been 3 month since I attended Web Wednesday. I went because Ed from Dookaz.com was going and we have some stuff to chat about.

The one in the middle is Ivy Wong, COO of Tvb.com
The guest was Ivy Wong from TVB.com. They hv re-launched the tvb.com site and she was there to talk about future plan of tvb.com. To me, her vision was nothing new. I think everyone on the web media is striving to that goal of interactive internet, where the contents will convert into ads dollar and e-commerce dollars and continuously able to entice users to keeps coming back for more.
The big question here is – can she do it at tvb.com? This is a chinese run company with a tradition of conservatism. It’s not Yahoo (she was recruited from Yahoo hong kong) where you can sell certain concept/s and most like they will go with it. I would be quite surprise if half of her vision is implemented.
What she has changed at tvb.com was already done at oriental daily. Oriental daily is moving a step further into internet tv where they are able to upload their exclusive breaking news within one hour of getting the raw news.

Ed from Dookaz.com

Angus from 852signal.com

Napoleon from webwednesday.hk. The man who organize the monthly social networking.

For the last two months, I have been in and out of hospital having my blood being taken so many times. The last one was because there was a slight rise in my blood sugar. I was told by the doctor to prepare myself being a diabetic. They did another round test by taking my blood in the morning. Then they give me some sweet stuff to drink. Next, I have to wait for another two hours before another round of drawing blood.
Today, finally….I got all the result test back. I am diabetic FREE…
Damn…happy…man…For a moment, I thought I need to change my entire diet behavior.
After this round of test, I will change some of my diet behavior…less fat, more vege, less Coke and do some jogging.
Anyway…I am a happy dude…I am blessed…and thks the dude above…
