Again, this year we went out to Nathan Road to check the Christmas Eve atmosphere.

Check out the crowd. Both side of the road was packed.

Found some dollfie…

Went up to the church. Wanted to go in…but was fulled.

Then we went over the Central.

At the pier, there were a small band playing and we sat there for half an hour listen to some jazz music.

As the above stated, I was only able to take photos of the fireworks. Why? Because I did not pay $1,000 Hkd (correct me if I am wrong), I am one of the many freeloaders hang around (near) Hong Kong Cultural Piazza trying to catch a glimpse of the opening.

The fireworks starts at 9.30 pm. I was there at 7 pm but many…many people were there since 5pm.

Obviously, many were disappointed. They could not hear a thing. There were no speakers on the FREE side. All you can see were some boat lighted with decoration and occasionally burst of fireworks.

I was lucky…I managed to squeeze as close to the piazza and that was the best spot for the fireworks (i think).
