On James Cameron @ Tedtalk
James Cameron talked about his journey as movie maker and lesson learned. I like what he said ‘Failure is an option but Fear is not’. Like he is talking to me….

If you want to find antique stuff, Upper Lascar Row (摩羅上街) and the vicinity of Hollywood Road are the best area for it.
For me, it was a good hangout to take some photos and the vendors let you do it.
Old coins.
A lot of tourist…
I like this one. Sun Tzu – Art of War.
A close up on Sun Tzu – Art of War – Printed on bamboo stick.
An old black and white pix of ancient Hong Kong.

We were bumming around Sheung Wan to check some antique stuff and we came upon a street called Ladder Street.

Man Mo temple on Hollywood Road.
This is called Ladder Street. I know… It’s not a street but just a staircase. You see this a lot…from Central to Sheung Wan. I was once lost looking for a street called Pottinger Street. Took me 20 minutes to look for it. It was not a street. It a stretch of staircase. Same as this one.
The surrounding has a lot old buildings and this one look so nostalgic.

The street light bring me back to the recent Bodyguard & Assassin movie.

We dropped-by Che Kung Temple to take some photos. Chinese New Year, a lot of people goes to Che Kung Temple to pray for good luck and fortunes.
I was there just to enjoy the scene and smell the burning of joss sticks.
Quite crowded.
This is what everyone comes for. Turning of the fan. Supposedly, if u turn the fan, it will get rid of all your bad luck and bring forth good luck.

The weather dip down to 8 celcius last night.
Its always good to have a hotpot during cold winter. This one is Drunken Chicken Hotpot. It’s chicken marinade with wine (don’t know what kind of wine) and chinese herbs.
On the side, we can add fish ball, vegetable, beef and tofu. Yummy…

We went out to Fa Yuen St, Mongkok to pick up some dried finger food stuff for the Chinese New Year.
Does not look good or feel like CNY if you don’t have all these in you home.
