We went out to take some photos during this 15th of the Lunar New Year (Yuan Xiao).

We went to the Hong Kong Piazza for these Lantern Light. Quite a lot people out at the Piazza.

This year, I really went out to take quite a bit of pixs for the chinese new year except the chinese new year fireworks.

I have not been successful on taking fireworks photos. But will practice more.

We dropped-by Che Kung Temple to take some photos. Chinese New Year, a lot of people goes to Che Kung Temple to pray for good luck and fortunes.

I was there just to enjoy the scene and smell the burning of joss sticks.

Quite crowded.

This is what everyone comes for. Turning of the fan. Supposedly, if u turn the fan, it will get rid of all your bad luck and bring forth good luck.

I continue to hang around Tsim Sha Tsui waiting for the night parade. Quite a long wait.

A lot of people was there since 6pm. The parade start at 8pm. By the time the parade reached where I was, it was 9pm.

God of Fortune. Have to put this photo up even though it’s a little blur.

First day of Chinese New Year, we went to bum around Harbour City and surrounding.

At the pier of Tsim Sha Tsui.

After the pier, we drop-by Heritage 1881, again. I know, somehow I like to take photo at this place.

Slight drizzling…

Then we head to a new mall called K11 at Hanoi St, Tsim Sha Tsui.

This year Chinese New Year and Valentine falls on the same day.

Last year we went up to Tsuen Wan…but was disappointed with no fireworks. This year, I went down to Tsim Sha Tsui again.

I took the MTR to Jordan and walk from Nathan Road down to the Star Ferry Piers. In between, I stopped by Commercial Press bookstore and hang around for an hour before trekking down to the Piers.

Passed-by Chung King Mansion. Have to take a pix.

As I passed-by 1881 Heritage, I went in and started to click away…too much time to kill. It was around 10pm.

Took a pix at the moon.

The fireworks – did not take any good pixs. Mainly due to my spot and many hands and heads in front of me.

This is best I have…

Happy 2010.

Again, this year we went out to Nathan Road to check the Christmas Eve atmosphere.

Check out the crowd. Both side of the road was packed.

Found some dollfie…

Went up to the church. Wanted to go in…but was fulled.

Then we went over the Central.

At the pier, there were a small band playing and we sat there for half an hour listen to some jazz music.

As the above stated, I was only able to take photos of the fireworks. Why? Because I did not pay $1,000 Hkd (correct me if I am wrong), I am one of the many freeloaders hang around (near) Hong Kong Cultural Piazza trying to catch a glimpse of the opening.

The fireworks starts at 9.30 pm. I was there at 7 pm but many…many people were there since 5pm.

Obviously, many were disappointed. They could not hear a thing. There were no speakers on the FREE side. All you can see were some boat lighted with decoration and occasionally burst of fireworks.

I was lucky…I managed to squeeze as close to the piazza and that was the best spot for the fireworks (i think).

You can check out East Asian Games website for games schedule.

It’s that time again and I went to Harbour City to take some pixs for this year christmas holiday. Every year Harbour City do a different theme and I think it’s becoming my annual ritual to take pixs at Harbour City.

The place was packed.

Took up an invitation to check out the Fashion World Talent Award (FWTA) briefing.

I was just curious. So…I went to check things out.

Felix explained the ‘Why’ on organizing such a competition.

These are the power people in the fashion world.

Ed from dookaz.com

Food…I did not take any.

Took a snap shot at her.

And this one, too. Nothing against bald people. Just the moment was presented in front of me.

And this one, too. I thought the earring was nice but the photo did not come out well.
Well, check out their website. I know nothing about fashion and I was wondering…wouldn’t it be nice if I as blogger be issued a press card to attend their competition. I just want to take photos….that it…
