We were bumming a Kwai Chung Plaza and my wife took me to one of the store that rent boxes to sell your wares.

These boxes are for rent. They charge a monthly rental between $450 hkd to $1200 hkd per box depending on the location. If you want it in the store front, the box price is higher.
If you don’t mind positioning you product way inside the store, the rental is much cheaper.

They told me the concept is not new. It’s very popular in Japan and they are adapting in Hong Kong. Well, I guess it does make sense in Hong Kong because the cost of rental is very high here.
If you have some self-design stuff, rather than put it in Yahoo auction, this might be another good avenue to do it.
I took a shot at their banner. You can check their site out at www.mybox.com.hk or another site(competitor) www.megaboxhk.com. There were 2 or 3 stores that doing the same concept. It so happen I came to this one and ask them about the prices.
