On H1N1 touching down on Hong Kong

H1N1 is already here. The HK Government took a very heavy handed approach on this outbreak.

Quarantine the entire hotel (Metropark Hotel at Wan Chai) for seven days. Is this really necessary?

I was out on Saturday and saw this at the alley of Cheung Sha Wan. The sanitizing begins.

At this moment, I think the Government is a little overboard on this issue.

I could be wrong…that is why I am thinking aloud….

  1. I got a train from Hong Kong to Shanghai overnight on Friday.

    It was kind of crazy,
one of the guys in the room next door to me had a cough,
so we got quarantined for a few hours
while people in white overalls checked out temperatures.

Glad that the outbreak has turned out to be less severe than first thought, though.
