On vacationing @ Taipei – Day 3
We went up Grand Hotel. We have been to Taipei many times but always passes by this hotel. This time…we decided to check it out.

Stunning hallways. Felt like I am in a palace.

I don’t know what to call it. But it was damn huge and awesome.

At the cafe, traditional chinese music.

A little tired. We went to the cafe for coffee and cheesecake.

Then we went to see a dentist. I have not clean my teeth for almost 2 years.

Going to dentist is not one of my favorite outing. I was holding on the seat. Don’t know what I was afraid of….hehhe.
More slides below for your enjoyment.

Next, went to check out a temple. My wife said…she like to hang out at this temple when she was young…

Does the dentist charge cheaper than here that you go all the way to Taiwan to clean your teeth?

In Hong Kong, the price to clean teeth is approximately $600.00 HKD. In Taiwan, I paid $200.00 Hkd. For those who have the Taiwan comprehensive insurance, they only pay $20.00 Hkd.

Wow. Relatively cheap. Will take note and make dental appointment part of my itinerary when I visit Taiwan.
